San Isabel Nat Forest Colorado

San Isabel contains 19 of the state’s 53peaks over 14,000 feet including the Mount Elbert, the highest point in Colorado. It’s known for Swatch Range, Collegiate Peaks, Sangre de Cristo Range, and it’s seven designated wilderness areas.
Due to its beauty it’s one of the major tourist attractions in the state of Colorado and hosts several recreational and picnic facilities. It offers plenty of lakes, hiking trails, and you can also enjoy fishing here as the lakes are full of fresh water fish.
