Indian Cherokee Chief Henry Qualla Reservation Full Headress, Fully Native Dress, Feathers adorning the headress, and holding two shields  white leather pants and shirt, moccasins, they live on Qualla Indian Reservation in Western North Carolina.   It was given to the Eastern Band of Cherokees.  As a trust, the land is technically not a “reservation”  as the land was not “reserved” by the federal government; it was purchased by the tribe in the 1870s and subsequently placed under federal jurisdiction.  The Indians were the original native people of North America.  They created their own alphabet.
